Terms

These terms cover the Tablebelt website, the install command, and hosted approvals. They are offered by Kyle Redelinghuys. Contact kyle@ksred.com.

The proxy

You run the proxy on your own machines. It sits in the agent's path. Your application keeps its own database connection. Snapshots stay in your Postgres. We do not host your database and we do not see your credentials.

The proxy and CLI are source-available under FSL-1.1-ALv2. Each release converts to Apache 2.0 two years after that release. You can use, modify, and self-host it. Offering it as a competing hosted product or service is outside that licence. Read the licence text that ships in the archive.

Hosted approvals

Hosted approvals and audit history are a paid service at app.tablebelt.com. Pro is $19 per database per month. Team is $79 per month. Prices are USD. Checkout shows local currency (GBP/EUR) where available. Stripe processes the payment. You can cancel in the billing portal. If a payment fails, hosted approvals stay on for a grace period and then stop. The proxy keeps working with local approvals.

Free does not need an account. It is the self-hosted proxy, CLI approvals, and local snapshots, for any number of local databases.

What you are responsible for

• The upstream database, its backups, and who you give the proxy URL to.
• Keeping the real DSN off the agent. Tablebelt cannot stop an agent that already has it. That limit is described on Security.
• Reviewing a held statement before you approve it. A snapshot is not a full database backup. DROP DATABASE cannot be snapshotted in this version.

Accounts and deletion

Delete an organisation in the dashboard, or email kyle@ksred.com. What we store, and for how long, is on the privacy page.

The legal entity name and postal address are not final. Until they are, the operator named on this page is Kyle Redelinghuys. This page is the product terms, not a substitute for advice you pay a lawyer for.
